MY
NAME IS SUNDANCE
I
am the third horse to arrive at J.A.M.E.S. I am a 16.2 hand, 17 year-old
Appaloosa. I have a calcification in my stifle joint that can be very
painful for me at times. Ron and Fran give me supplements that help
and I feel much better. On a breezy day my favorite thing to do is tease
Rabbit, run around the turn-out and kick up my heels. I love people,
especially kids, I’m affectionate and very alert to what goes
on around me. I trade kisses for treats and Fran says I’m just
a big teddy bear. Ron says I’m the best looking boy here and he’d
keep me forever just so he could look at me every morning! I’m
a big boy but I can’t carry a heavy rider. My vet Norm says I’m
okay to ride with a light rider on flat ground. I have some training
under my hooves as well, so I’d be good for a younger rider. I
need a little extra special care, just like my other stallmates, but
I’m an all-around great guy!
