THE RAINBOW BRIDGE

Just this side of Heaven is a place called the Rainbow Bridge. When a horse dies that has been especially close to someone here on earth, he goes to the Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of tall green grass, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the horses who had been ill or old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt and maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in days gone by. These horses are happy and content at the Rainbow Bridge except for one thing; they each had someone very special to them who had to be left behind. They all run and play together until the day comes when, unexpectedly, one stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent, his eager body quivers. Suddenly, he runs from the group, hooves flying over the green grass, strong legs carrying him faster and faster.........he sees you.

When you and your special friend finally meet, you hold fast to each other, never to be parted again. Happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress that beloved head and you look once again into the trusting eyes of your horse, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart........

And then, together again, you cross the Rainbow Bridge together.

Below are our horses that wait for us at the Rainbow Bridge...
